After close on 9 years of hurling for the club the boys in our U13 group finally got their chance at Championship hurling on Saturday when they faced Clonlara at home in O'Garney Park.
How the boys would adapt to the the full size field, size 4 ball and large crowd in attendance were all questions on the managements mind but the boys took it all in their stride and put in a super team effort for the hour to register a win.
The first half was a very close affair but 2 quick goals mid way through the half saw the 'Bridge go in leading 2-06 to 0-05 at half time.

With the wind in their favour in the second half they kept the scoreboard ticking over to ensure they recorded a win and register their first 2 points on the Championship table.
