A selection of our U15s panel took part in two competitions organised by Coiste na Óg Iomáint An Clár at 2 locations, Caherlohan and Clareabbey on Wednesday 11th June.
Super 10's Format was 10 Players a side, with roll on roll off subs.
The groups games 10 minutes per half 13-13 half width.
The 1st team in each group contest the Cup semi-finals, 2nd team in each group contest the Shield semi-finals.
Clareabbey ‘U15 Selection‘
This team selection beat Wolfe Tones Shannon and Clarecastle in the group stages.
They proceeded to meet and beat Corofin Ruan in the semi final after a hard fought battle and overcame Newmarket on Fergus by 8 scores to 3 scores in the final. The lads were delighted to come away from Clareabbey unbeaten with a Super 10s Cup to celebrate.
Caherlohan ‘U15 Selection‘
This team selection lost there first game to Corofin Ruan but rallied to remain unbeaten for the remainder of the competition.
They beat Kilmaley in the group stages and proceeded to meet and beat Scariff Ogonolloe in the semi final and a comprehensive win over Ballyea in the final. These lads received a Super 10s Shield for their endeavours.
