Recently, our minor squad took a trip back west to Lahinch for a memorable day of training, fun, and team bonding in preparation for the first round of the championship.
The day began with a training session in Lahinch Community Field, where the players put in a solid effort ahead of their upcoming championship. Following the session, the squad made their way down to the beach, where they enjoyed some swimming and games.
The day was topped off with a BBQ, where players and mentors were treated to a delicious spread.
A massive thank you to Padraig Torpey and all at Lahinch Community Field for the generous use of the facilities. Special thanks also go to Jamie and Olivia for the incredible food and hospitality — the BBQ was a highlight and appreciated by all involved.
The day proved to be the perfect lead-in to our championship campaign, as the team went on to record a brilliant win over Scariff-Ogonnelloe in the opening round.
Well done to all the players and management for their continued hard work, and thanks again to everyone who made the Lahinch day out such a success!
