Junior B Premier Championship
Sixmilebridge(1) - 0-17
Corofin - 1-15

Venue - Clarecastle
Referee - Robert Harte

The Bridge Junior B1 Team opened their account with a David O'Conor point followed by another from Conor Gilligan. An early injury forced Dara Twomey to retire, replaced by Paul Fitzpatrick. Further points arrived from Dylan Keogh and David O'Conor with the remaining 5 points of the half coming from Cillian Murphy, with 3 from frees and 2 from play. At half time the Bridge lead by the minimum 0-10 to 1-6 after Corofin had managed a green flag.

The second half saw the Bridge add another 5 points from Cillian Murphy, again 3 from frees and 2 from play, as well as points from Dylan Keogh and Danny Morey, Morey being replaced shortly after followinga tough collision.  Corofin had stepped up a gear in the second half and really found tehir momentum but for a scatter of wides near the end of the half the Bridge would have gotten something out of the game, losing in the end by the minimum 0-17 to 1-15.

For the Bridge John Deasy, John Hogan, Conor Gilligan and Cillian Murphy played well and with a bit of luck they would have salvaged something from the game although Corofin are a good side and deserved their victory.
