The Bridge will rue the amount of wides they had in this match, having created plenty of chancves to win the match they failed to convert when needed. Kilkee Bealaha on the other hand had far fewer wides and this was the difference in the end. At half time the Bridge trailed by 4 points, 2-7 to 1-6, the Bridge goal coming from Brian Culbert.

The second half saw the Bridge trailing by just a goal at 4 minutes gone and with further scores exchanged along with several wides the 3 point gap remained until ful time. This was an exciting match in the end and despite the loss the Bridge did create plenty of chances and will hope to convert these for their final group game a must win game, against Wolfe Tones.

For the Bridge Dylan Dunne was outstanding at corner back. Also good on the night were Brian O' Loughlin, Conor Maxwell, Brian Culbert, Stiofan Fitzpatrick and Brian Casey and Brendan Murphy when introduced.
