We're not quite at the level of Elon Musk and his recent SpaceX Falcon Heavy launch, but there's plenty to look forward to in the next couple of months as the 2018 season kicks into gear.

Follow up meeting for the Coaching Reviews which took place in December 2017

A follow-up meeting will take place on Wednesday 28th February at 8pm to the very successful Club review nights we had in December. This will help our Coaches across ALL our age groups, stay aligned with Club policy and keep doing a lot of the good things and add some more, which will help to keep our club getting stronger in the years to come. All underage coaches are urged to attend.

Return of Parent and Child Night

Other highlights coming soon will be the return of the very popular "Parent & Child" nights in the Hall on 3 Tuesdays in March starting on the 13th. More details to follow.

Foundation Course

Along with the "Parent and Child" nights, we will host our own Foundation Level GAA accredited course in April. The course is designed to promote the development of the How to Coach skills through modelling of best practice, as demonstrated by the tutor, experimental learning and through the guided reflection on previous experiences – as a coach, player, official or parent. The course is open to all those who would like to have some input into our Club.

Workshop on Athletic Development and Running/Movement

We will also host a special workshop on Saturday 24th March in the Club for Coaches, Parents and Players with a special emphasis on Athletic Development and Running/Movement mechanics for a dynamic sport like Hurling.

Back in Action

Meanwhile our U14's continue to brave the adverse weather of the last couple of months as they prepare for the Clare Feile Na nGael competition in late March. After that, they will be straight into the U14A and U14A Shield Championships across the months of April and May, and hopefully into the latter stages in early June.
The U12's and U10's shook off their winter cobwebs last Saturday and so we most definitely have Lift-Off.......!!!

See you all for Registration this Friday night at 6.00-7.30pm in the Hall!
