Our Junior B1 team travelled to Feakle on Sunday last for their opening round of the Division 5 league. Between the posts for the Bridge was former Clare minor goalkeeper Shane Whyte, back on the field after a number of years abscence. Also featuring was new regrades to Junior level Jack Corry, Sean Lynch and Dara Casey and welcoming back Cian Hogan from his travels down under.

A tough Feakle side, with the aid of a very strong gale went in at half time 7 points to the good. The Bridge played well in the second half and tried hard to pull back the scoreline to even terms but unfortunately Feakle were the winners in the end by 4 points on a scoreline of 1-17 to 0-16. Good for the Bridge on the day were Darragh Twomey, Jack Corry, Niall Liddane, David O'Connor, Conor Gilligan and Sean Lynch. Also specia mentio to Ben O'Connell and Cian McInerney making their debut at this level.
