Our Junior B2 team started their Division 7 league campaign with a home fixture against Newmarket last night under lights in O'Garney Park. Gavin O'Reilly has stepped up to manage the side with the assistance of coach Gerry O'Halloran.

Despite Newmarket having a man sent off half way through the second half, the Bridge were well beaten in the end in this fixture. A number of new younger players featured such as Darragh Sweeney and Charlie Keane out of the minor ranks from last year, well done to them.

Tom Forde hit the back of the Newmarket net for the Bridge's only goal. Playig well for the Bridge on the night were Mark O'Donovan, Conor Murphy, Morgan O'Connell, Paul Corbett, Jack Phelan and Peter Gilligan.
