Our Junior B2 were in action last Friday night against Smith O'Briens in Killaloe. The side had Kilkenny man Mark O'Donovan directing affairs on the sideline for the evening.
The Half time score was 1-13 to 0-5 to Smith o Brien's who were playing with a strong breeze.
The Bridge won out the second half but sadly it wasn't enough to catch the large lead the Killaloe men had amassed in the first half.
Conor Flynn was very good on the night, helping out defensively, he went back and man marked the oppositions centre forward. Danny Morey was the Bridges target man at full forward and he had a good tussle with the opposition full back, being dragged down twice in first half with Alex Frost scoring the awarded frees. Jack Phelan played well at full back and Noel Flynn was hard working through out.
