Some Useful Guidelines for Teams on Pitch Use
1. ROBOT MOWER – In order not to damage the robot mower, all obstacles to be removed after each session, goalposts, mobile posts, bottles, bandages, tops, helmet straps, sliotars.
2. DUGOUTS CLEANUP - cups, bottles and other items are being just left behind, bins are there and should be used.
3. GOALMOUTH BARRIERS - to be replaced after every session.
4. WARMUP AREAS - never use the end lines, sidelines, never have drills where continuous turning in same spot as this causes awful damage. Use behind goals at far end as much as possible.
5. GOALMOUTH AREAS - Goalmouths Use to be restricted as much as possible.
6. MATCH FLAGS - When putting flags out for matches, never put on the line, not into the slots, these are line marking slots. Place the flags behind the line slightly off the pitch
7. DAILY USE OF FIELD BY CHILDREN - Daily casual traffic on the field is an issue. Robot in operation, young lads on field with a bike, mower mounted bike and broke 2 blades, and bearings had to be replaced. Solution is to tutor kids via underage teams to be aware of robot and not leave any obstacles on field. Where possible mower will be out at night time but where not possible above needs to be taken into account.
Cappa Lodge
1. CAPPA LODGE FIELD - Temporary goals need to be left on the designated spots, TBC, preferably off the grass so that the lawnmower can ride freely across the surface.
Dressing Rooms
1. Turn off lights and lock doors The Field Committee would be grateful if the above could be taken into account it will make the job of minding, improving and restoring damage much easier.
