The intermediates travelled to Ballyea last Saturday evening, there was a very strong breeze, Sixmilebridge had a big lead at half time with the wind to their backs.
The Sixmilebridge backs battled bravely under fierce pressure in the second half and Sixmilebridge were leading all the way through the game, up until the last minute when Ballyea got a goal at the death to take the victory. Good performances from Dylan Keogh, Conor Peacock and Donal O’Leary.
