The Bridge Junior B2 team played Whitegate in Cappa Lodge last night in Round 5 of Division 7 of the league. The match was played in Cappa Lodge and the field was in great condition thansk to the Field Team.

In the first half player manager Gavin O'Reilly playing in the forwards created a good goal chance before being taken down when through on goal. The resulting '21 yard free from Conor Murphy was deflected over the bar. At half time the Bridge trailed on a scoreline of 2-16 to 0-6.

In second half Danny Morey through on goal was also taken down, this time Conor Murphy made no mistake and scored the resulting '21 yard free.

Well beaten in the end but there were some good performances especially Callum Toomey who was strong at full back and Peter Gilligan in the forwards with couple of fine points from play.
