Its been a busy few weeks for our U15 Hurlers - With a squad of 45 players management have been busy juggling games and trainings all year and all the hard work has paid off as all 3 teams are in the business end of the Championship.

U15A Team
The boys completed their games in the group stages with a hard fought win away to St Josephs Doorabarefield last evening - While the weather was hot and muggy their was a downpour and thunder and lightening just before throw in which made the conditions slippy for both teams. The home side got off to a great start and lead 1-02 to 0-01 early on but the Bridge boys kept the scoreboard ticking over and went in leading by a point at half time no a score of 3-05 to 2-07. A good start to the second half saw the visitors take control around the middle third and outscored their opponents 1-06 to 0-04 in the second half to win by 4-11 to 2-11. Following the group stages the Bridge finished 2nd in their group and now have a 4 weak break to the semi final which takes place on June 24th at a neutral venue against Newmarket or Kilmaley.

Team:
Alex Russell
Aidan Kearney, Noah Seago O'Sullivan, Sean Finnin;
Noah Conneely, Liam Mulready, James Harrison;
Matthew Murphy, Cillian Rafferty;
Jack Monahan, Jack Reddan, Sean Conlon;
Darragh Toomey, Ronan Lynch, Jack Fitzpatrick.
Subs: Matty Maxwell for Toomey, Blake Corbett for Lynch

U15 Academy A
The Bridge went down to Ballyea in the Championship  semi final last week -
These boys were unfortunate to lose 2 players due to injury on then night with 2 boys heading for stitches - 1 before the game had started and another before half time. Thankfully both boys have recovered now and are back in training.
They will now play the Shield final on Friday June 5th against the losers of Doora Barefield and Corofin/Ruan who play this Monday.

U15 Academy C
Last Friday our U15 Academy hurlers had a fine win over Scariff Ogonnolloe in the Championship semi final in the Bridge.
This sees them qualify for the final this Monday at 11am in Clareabbey against Kilrush Shamrocks. The team is captained by Luke McNamara with Padraig Chaplin as Vice Captain.
Please note that tickets for this final can be purchased online in advance here
