The Junior B1 team had already secured its safety in Division 5 after wins against Newmarket and Corofin before playing Wolfe Tones in the final round of the Division 5 league. Having secured safety management wer able to field a slightly altered team affording game time to as many players as possoble. 

The Bridge were behind at half time however as Wolfe Tones managed to secure 3 goals in the first half, Cian McInerney got the Bridge goal batting the ball to the net after it rebounded from the goalkeeper. The half time score was 3 5 to 1 4.

Although they fought back in the second half they couldn't breach the gap and the final score was Wolfe Tones 6-9 to the Bridge 1-12.

Best on the day for the Bridge was Danny Dunne. The squad will now be focusing on the upcoming championship after a good league campaign.
