The club is delighted to announce that the Senior Team Captain and Vice Captain for 2026 have been selected.

This years captain leading the team for the Canon Hamilton cup campaign is Brian Corry. The experienced club player has been one of our most consistent performers over recent years. A dyed in wool Bridgeman the popular teacher at St. Caimins in Shannon affectiontely known as 'Beanie' will be giving it everything this year. Brians father Martin has also represented the Bridge at senior level and has also won county medals, his mother Clare is an avid Bridge supporter rarely missing a match.

Ably assisting Brian in the Vice Captains role will be Pa Mulready, one of our most versatile players in recent years. Back to his best after a serious injury a few years ago Pa will also be giving it his all to drive on the Bridge this year. Of course Pa's brother Alan is also on the panel and Pa's uncle Ian Mulready famously lifted the Tommy Moore cup as captain of the Bridge when they won the All Ireland club final in Croke Park in 1996. Pas father Leo represented the club well in the past and his mother Lorraine is also a great supporter of the club travelling up and down the couty and wider following her boys.
