Sixmilebridge Camogie are Clare Camogie Minor A County finalists!!!!

Well done to all involved on Friday against Kilmaley.
After 80 nail-biting minutes of camogie, drawing at full-time, and added extra time, nothing could separate the teams. 

It took a dramatic 45-metre shoot-out to decide it, and every single girl gave it her all.

Hard luck to a very strong Kilamley team.
Next up: County Final against our neighbours, Newmarket-on-Fergus!

As a club our last Minor A victory saw a strong bridge side beating our neighbours Newmarket-on-Fergus, scoring 4.14 to 2.04 in Clarecastle in 2010.

This 2010 team were a very strong team, a tradition we are building on year in year out after a few bumps in the road for minor all the ground work is starting to show with underage development being key to progress and retention.

The Minor Panel as it stands today has a wonderful blend of Sixmilebridge Representatives at varying age playing on County panels. With roughly 17+ girls involved in county at some point during this year.  Something as a club we are hugely proud of.
