The Junior B2s were in action on Sunday in O'Callaghans Mills on Sunday in Round 1 of the Junior B Premier championship. Tulla played with strong breeze in first half. The Bridge worked hard in the first half but Tulla managed to get a goal just before half time which gave them a big cushion going into the break and a big uphill battle for the Bridge in the second half. The half time score was 1-11 to 0-6 to Tulla. A number of good saves from Stevie Mul ensured the difference wasn't even bigger.

The Bridge started the 2nd half brightly with 3 points before Tulla got their first goal of the second half undoing the Bridge hard work. Tulla got further goals in 20th & 25th minutes ensuring too big a mountain for bridge to climb in the remaining minutes. The Bridge never stopped fighting though as alot of the play in last 10 minutes was in the Tulla half & tne Bridge duely had a penalty awarded which Alex Frost dispatched to the back of the net.  

A good team performance despite the loss, best on the day for the Bridge were Jason Murphy and Danny Morey. The team were managed on the day by Mark O'Donovan, Brendan O'Callaghan, Brian O' Loughlin & Kevin Phelan.
