This weekend saw the end of the Intercounty games for the Clare U14 Hurlers who have been training collectively every Saturday in Caherlohan and once per week before School in the Gym and during the Summer on Friday mornings.
The county ran with 3 even teams with close on 75 boys taking part in the program.

The Bridge had 5 boys involved namely Alex Russell, Lorcan Benoit, Sean Finnin, Matty Maxwell and Matthew Murphy which the coaches for this group included our club men PJ Mac Giolla Phádraig, Martin Conlon and Brian Corry.

On Saturday morning the boys headed off early destined for Waterford - Sean was part of the Clare White team who played Waterford Blue and North Cork. Alex lined out for the Clare Blue team who won their 2 group games against West Cork and Mid Tipperary before losing out to Mid Cork in the Cup Final.

The Clare Saffons with Lorcan, Matty and Matthew lost to Mid Cork but overcame Kerry to finish second in their group and reach the Shield final where they defeated Mid Tipperary to bring home some silverware.

The Tony Forristal Cup was an all Limerick final with Limerick Green and Limerick Whites contesting the cup.
