As the club prepare for their third county final in 5 years here are some interesting pieces of information about the club and players.
The club fielded 4 senior teams again in 2015, a unique situation in the county, and 3 of those teams have reached County Finals. The success of recent parish leagues and dedicated management setups involved with each team have led to entering the 4 teams over the past number of years.
Niall Gilligan turned 39 in mid August and the All Ireland club and county winner will be hoping to add another county title to his long list of successes and maybe a 40 year old Gilligan will return next year to try and add a win in his forties having already won in his teens, twenties and thirties.
The 'Bridge are unbeaten this year in 13 competitive matches so far.
This County final is the 'Bridges 3rd final in 5 years, 2011 and 2013 being the previous appearances.
Eamon Kelly, the 'Bridge selector is a native of Puckane in Tipperary and is the former Kerry hurling manager having managed them to the Christy Ring title earlier this year. Eamon was recently appointed as Offaly hurling manager succeeding Brian Whelehan.
