Toggin Out Team take on Galway Social Hurling team

Our Toggin Out team took on fellow social hurling outfit Gort on Saturday last in the Arena for a very enjoyable afternoons hurling.

Organised by Toggin Out manager Brian O'Neill the Gort crew were eager to come and take on the Bridge team in the indoor facilty. Gort had been training hard for the challenge and had done all their training outfield. They had ony gathered together in the last 8 weeks or so and this was their first challenge game.

Played as a 7 aside game the hurling over the course of the hour was entertaining and challenging for both sides culminating in a mixed team game.

Of course after the hurling had finished both teams made their way down the street to Caseys for the Munster game to fulfil the social sideof the Social hurling scene! Thansk to Gort for coming down and no doubt here will be a repeat fixture soon.
