The response so far to the Memorial Plaque in the arena has been overwhelming - The general consensus has been that's its a small way to mark a big influence in peoples lives.

So many people have had an association with the club in a playing capacity, administration roles, supporter roles as well as ex pats who are proud to say the Bridge is their club. In many cases multiple siblings have come together and involved their children (token pocket money donation) to ensure their lived one is remembered fondly with their name and photo engraved in the new arena.

The future is not some place we are going to, but one we are currently creating and the mission of the Bridge has always been to leave the club in a better place for the next generation.

As we head down the final straight of the Arena project the response to the memorial wall is what is most pleasing for the club which ensures our loved ones, while they will be missed they will never be forgotten. This has seen siblings come together to remember a parent or multiple family members by including their name and photo on a special memorial granite plaque which will reside inside the arena . (Cost for inclusion on the wall including engraving is €1,000 for life which can be paid in full or via instalments).
