Saturday the 11th of June saw our Under 11 team make the short trip to our near neighbours in Limerick, Na Piarsaigh. We were one of four teams partaking in The Conal O'Cahalane Memorial Tournament run on annually at various grades to commemorate a Na Piarsaigh player who passed away at a young age.
We played the hosts Na Piarsaigh, Monaleen from Limerick also and Tipperary's Ballina. After 3 close and enjoyable games it was Monaleen who retained there trophy for a second year.
We were once again treated to some fantastic skills from all players on the four teams and this was recognised on the day with an award for one player from each team. Brendan Carey received the award from The Bridge Team for a great display of catching and positional awareness on the day.
Well done to all involved on the day and thank you to the families and supporters that travelled on the day.
