News hot off the press today has revealed our club man Martin Conlon as the new Strength and Conditioning coach for the Cork Senior Camogie team for 2022. Conlon who has worked with numerous sides in the past including the Clare Senior Camogie team and the Sixmilebridge Senior hurling team brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Lee Side ladies who this year will be managed by Matthew Twomey and includes club mate Davy Fitzgerald as a coach.

Martin was educated in St. Flannans Ennis where he was famously known as King of the alley in the legendary wall hurling competitions before going on to play 3 years of Harty cup for the famous Ennis school. He progressed to the Bridge seniors in 1993 and won an All Ireland club title in 1996. As he neared retirement he captained the Bridge Juniors to success before taking a lead role in the emergence of the Bridge Bucks - He has confirmed his new role will not affect his current coaching role with the Bridge Bucks U11 Hurlers for 2022.
