The Sixmilebridge National School girls won their semi-final in Cumann na mBunscol against Tulla with the final score 2-02 to nil.

Scores came from a Kate Monaghan point in the 5th minute of play. Followed by a goal in the 10th minute from Eimear Peacock. Two minutes into the second half another point from Kate Monagahan following a free. Sarah Conlon found the back of the net in the 13th minute of the second half .

Teamwork, determination and skill were all factors in wining this game. To their credit Tulla never gave up. SMB NS last won this competition in 2007.

The final is on in Cusack Park on Wednesday the 15th June at 1pm.
