On a bright and sunny Saturday morning, our u13s took on Inagh Kilnamona in the last round of the u13A championship.

From the first whistle, our forwards put on the pressure with Kate Monahan on target for the first goal after only 2 minutes. Ava Moloney followed this with another goal from play three minutes later. Céire McNamara popped a lovely point over shortly afterwards. Inagh Kilnamona put pressure on but failed to score from play, thanks to some wonderful defending from our excellent half back and full back line. Darcy O Hara turned the play over and rattled the net for the 'Bridge in the 20th minute. Just before half time, Inagh Kilnamona converted a free to leave the score 3-1 to 0-1 at the break.

Both teams came back energised for the second half and played an intense and physical game, with Céire McNamara scoring the only goal this half. Inagh Kilnamona created many chances but some brilliant defense and superb goalkeeping from Sarah Farrell kept them scoreless in the second half.

The final score was Sixmilebridge 4-1 Inagh Kilnamona 0-1.

Our u13s now advance to the semi finals which will be played on 1st October.
