The junior Bs have continued their winning run and have made it to the semi finals of the championship after a victory against Killaloes Smith O' Briens second team at the Wolfe Tones Shannon pitch last night.

Played under lights conditions were good, with a good crowd in attendance. Chairman Syl O' Connor was taking no chances with the midgets in the night and had the pants tucked into the socks and the big spray all over!

The half time score saw the 'Bridge ahead 0-09 to 0-04, Killaloes scores all coming from their corner forward, one from play and 3 from frees. The 'Bridge had a nice spread of scorers, with 5 points from frees and 4 from play.

A tough physical game and the biggest challenge this team met yet, Smith O' Briens brought the game to a goal between the sides mod way through the second half, after their wing forward burst his way through the 'Bridge defence before striking to the net.

The 'Bridge responded with a goal themselves before shooting 4 unanswered points ttonsee out the game.

Good for the 'Bridge on the night were Eanna Chaplin, Paul Fitzpatrick, Oisin Breen, Adam Murray.

A good start to the championship weekend.
