Our 2nd team, the Intermediates have reached the County Semi Final after beating Newmarket's 2nd team in the Quarter final on Sunday evening in Shannon. Played in good conditions until the rain came down in the second half the 'Bridge were always in command and ran out 9 point winners in the end. However there was only 2 points between the teams at half time, woth the 'Bridge leading 1-08 to 0-09.

Good for Sixmilebridge were Aidan Quilligan and Kevin Lynch at full back and centre back and Sean Lynch and Sean Macnamara in the forwards. Sean Lynch was the goal scorer from a penalty after the Newmarket keeper hauled one of our forwards to the ground.
