This Saturday 24th September at 10.30am, the Minor Club will once again host the Johnny Flynn memorial blitz with a series of matches for our U11 Hurlers(comprising 2 Teams) against visiting teams from 3 other clubs.
The visiting teams are Mungret x2, Ballina and Clonlara and each team will be guaranteed 3 matches on the day.
Catering will be provided on the day by the hardworking Parents of our own U11 Group and we welcome ALL Hurling followers to drop in, have a cup of tea and a chat, and - most importantly - be entertained by the excellent Hurling skills of these young players from the 4 Clubs.
As in previous years, this celebration of Juvenile Hurling will be a fitting tribute to the memory of a man who – like many others – gave selflessly of his time and energy to the promotion of Hurling and Camogie in Sixmilebridge.
Thanks also to “rookie” U11 Manager Dermot O’Sullivan for his hard work and organisation in conjunction with the Minor Executive, to ensure this day will be a success like others in previous years
