Our Senior camogie team finished the season with a strong performance in the Shield Semi final.
Kilkishen-Bodyke started the stronger and were 3 points up at half time. Points from play from Hannah Wilson, Niamh Lyons and accurate free taking from Chloe Morey kept the Bridge girls in it.
Sixmilebridge put in a very impressive second half against a strong breeze. Points from Roisin O’Grady, Emma Kennedy and Chloe Morey kept the scoreboard ticking over. Olivia Phelan sprinted through the defence to rattle the net with 7 minutes to go to set up for an exciting finish but Kilkishen-Bodyke held on for the win.
