The curtain came down on the under 6 season at O Garney Park yesterday evening with over 40 stars of the future taking to the field.
The evening kicked off with the players parading around the pitch behind a bag piper- the atmosphere was electric as the players faced each other in battle for the final occasion this season.
The national anthem could be heard as far away as thomond park!!
The boys gave a great display of skill & athletisim under the watchfull eye of Ger Loughnane & our own Mike 'halla' O Halloran - rumour has it they might be in for the Clare job !!
I'd like to thank the parents for bringing their kids every friday evening and to the talented coaches that assisted me in what was a great summer of hurling.
The stars of the future recieved medals, certificates of excellence along with strength & Conditioning plus nutritional programs for the off season.
Thanks to Mike Quinn and the Minor Club for their continuing support in the promotion of our great game.
Until next May keep up the practice and get started on your programs😅😅
Anyone interested in becoming a coach for next season can contact me or the club on this page..
