Clare U15 Post Primary School Final

St Flannans College 5-25 Ard Scoil Rís 1-03

On a cold and fresh night in Caherlohan under lights St. Flannans Ennis ran out 34 point winners over rivals Ard Scoil Rís in the ClubClare organised Clare Post Primary Schools Hurling final. This development competition promotes and prepares Clare players for the provincial championships which begin in January and given the large Clare contingents at schools like Limerick’s Ardscoil Rís and St Munchin’s and Galway’s Gort also features these teams from outside the Banner. The 'Bridge were also well represented on the St. Caimins and St Patricks Comprehensive teams who also took part in the competition.

The 'Bridge had players involved across both squads including Stephen Gavin (Flannans), Jack O'Halloran, Cuan Mac Giolla Ceara, Donal O'Leary and Dylan Keogh (All Ard Scoil).

David Kennedy in Freshers Action with UL

This week ULs second Fresher team contested the All Ireland League Final against SETU Carlow. David lined out at Corner forward in a game for the ages as the sides ended level in normal time on a scoreline of SETU Carlow 3-19 UL 1-16.

The Carlow side came out the fresher in extra time to win by 2 points on a score of SETU Carlow 4-13 UL 1-20
