Following his hat trick last weekendf in the Warwickshire County Final John Reddan will be back in action this Sunday in the All Britain Semi Final against Fr. Murphys of London.
Bridge man John Reddan lined out at Full Forward last weekend against St. Barnabas and hit 3-2 from play. He is named at wing forward for this weekends game in Pairc na hEireann @12.45pm. Indeed Redders will be familiar with Fr. Murphys when he lined out with his own club Sixmilebridge in the All Ireland Club quarter final in Ruislip back in 2000 - hard to believe its 16 years ago since the club chartered the plane to London for the day and came away with a win and had a great party afterwards. Best of luck to John and the Mitchells boys Sunday.
For the record the Bridge team that day was:
Sixmilebridge: D Fitzgerald; K McInerney, J O'Connell, W Kennedy; A Mulready, P Hayes, A Chaplin; S Fitzpatrick, C Chaplin; M Conlon, J Reddan (0-1), R Conlon; B Culbert (2-3), N Gilligan (0-6, four frees), J O'Meara (0-1).
Subs: C Walshe for S Fitzpatrick (55 mins), N Flannery for M Conlon, D Chaplin for J O'Meara (58 mins).
