While the wise men of Christmas brought Gold, Frankincense, and Myrrh the underage hurlers of the Bridge brought Cups, trophies and shields as they visited local schools today.

The children in Sixmilebridge, Kilmurry and Clonmoney national Schools had a welcomed visit from our U14 and U15 hurlers who brought the

- U14A cup

- U15A shield

- U15A Academy cup

The players visited all the classes and fielded some great questions from the young boys and girls who will hopefully some day be taking part in a similar visit back to the schools as they move up through the ranks of Sixmilebridge Hurling and Camogie.

Many thanks to Mr Heagney and Mr Keane in Sixmilebridge, to Mr Clohessy in Kilmurry and to Mr McCormack in Clonmoney for facilitating the visit. Also we would like to take this opportunity to thank all the teachers who help out with coaching the boys and girls throughout the year and we look forward to seeing them all in action in their school colours in 2023.

The U14 & U15 players will receive their medals on Wednesday 21st of December at 6:30pm in the clubhouse. Parents, Grandparents, Family, Friends and everyone is welcome to come and share in the celebration.

The boys got a special treat from Santa in Clonmoney where Jack, Dylan, Cian and Stephen went to school. The treats were welcomed but will be banished early in the new year as they will be focusing on a gym program and 1k timed runs!

Brendan who is involved in our Junior B team was on a break from finishing the new Astro in Clonmoney and had a chat with the boys about how he won an U14A himself but twas in the last century.
