Congrats to Bridge man Seanie Stack (Junior) who refereed the blue ribbon of hurling in Dublin last Saturday when he officiated in Parnell park for the Senior Championship final between Cuala (1-15) and Kilmacud Crokes (0-15).
Stack played underage for Sixmilebridge before getting a teaching post in the capital which saw him transfer to Parnells. He took up whistling only a short time ago and refereed the Minor A final last year before becoming the main man in 2016. He is set to join the intercounty refereeing panel for 2017 and we wish him luck and look forward to seeing him in charge soon on All Ireland final day. He is the son of Clare & Bridge legend Sean who was one of the greatest Clare hurlers of all time.
