While Friday the 13th is seen as an unlucky day for some the Bridge Junior A & C hurlers will use it to celebrate their good fortune after winning their respective county championship.

Indeed work and hardship rather than luck was the secret sauce for these lads who following the disappointment of county final losses in 2015 knuckled down and delivered silverware for the club this year.

A victory social will take place in the Bunratty Castle Hotel (Fibbers to some people) on Friday January 13th starting at 7PM with a mulled wine reception.

Music on the night will be by Deuces Wild followed by a bit of dancing at the disco, bumper to bumper .. wait a minute, wheres me ... medal.

Going by the Bridge victory socials of the last few years the players have shown they are well able to party as well as play so this promises to be a great night out.
