Congrats to Bridge man Pa Sheehan on winning a Western Collegiate Championship last week in San Francisco.

Professor Pa as he is known across the pond transferred allegiance to the Montana Grizzlies Hurling team earlier this fall as he took up a post at the Uni of Montana as part of the Fulbright  Program. This program by the Irish and US governments, provides Irish students, scholars, and professionals the opportunity to study, research or teach at top American institutions.

Pa is represented by Chicago based sports agent Trevor Purcell who also handled local man Paidi Fitzpatricks switch to Lacrosse earlier this year. as well as Jamie "Timber" Shanahan and Alexander "The Real Mow" Moreys sporting escapades in the US this summer.

Many locals are comparing Purcell to Tadgh Kennelly who is also poaching GAA players away from the Emerald Isle but Purcell (who took time out from carving his thanksgiving turkey) told us "the hipster lifestyle here in the states is very appealing to visionaries such as Sheehan and Fitzpatrick and the endorsements I can get for these guys means they can eventualy move out of their mammys house when they get home to the Bridge".
