17 May 2023 - Sixmilebridge A 1-15 St Josephs Doora Barefield 1-7
After a draw in the last round, the U15 A team were hoping to return to winning ways in Round 5 of the championship. Doora Barefield were the visitors to O’Garney Park in what was a rematch of last years U14 final. A strong first half saw the lads go into the halftime break with a lead of 1-5 to 3 points – the goal coming courtesy of Stephen Gavin. The boys consolidated their lead in the second half to run out deserving winners on a 1-15 to 1-7 scoreline.

Notable performance for Sixmilebridge included Jack McNamara, Cuan McGiollaCearra and Conor Peacock.
21 May 2023 – Academy Semi-final -Sixmilebridge 4-8 Inagh Kilnamona 10-6
After a strong finish to the group stage of the Academy championship, Sixmilebridge earned a home semi-final against Inagh Kilnamona. A bright start for the Bridge saw them take a 2 point lead in the first 5 minutes courtesy of Liam Sweeney and Charlie Keane. Unfortunately, a poor spell right before half time saw the visitors score several goals and go into the break with a significant lead which they maintained in the second half. Final Score Sixmilebridge 4-8 Inagh Kilnamona 10-6

Good performances for Sixmilebridge included Conor Gleeson (2-4 from play), Conor Keogh and Dougie Brew.
While this was a disappointing end to their Academy championship campaign, the squad made great progress through the season with some fine results on the way.
