The following letter was sent into the club and asked to be shared by the Madden family who have recently relocated from the 'Bridge to Germany but really enjoyed their time with the Bridge Bucks.

All in the club and community will miss them at our Bridge Bucks sessions and we look forward to welcoming them back to the Bridge in due course. Well done to al the coaches who continue to give up their time and letters like this really make it worth while.

Hi Coaches and Club Members,

We wanted to let you know that we will be moving to Germany at the end of June. Saturday 23rd of June will be Tadhg and Daire's last day at hurling. The boys are going to miss it hugely...as are we.

We really appreciate all of the graft and effort that every coach puts into the sessions for the boys. They have gained so much from being a part of Sixmilebridge GAA Club. I don't think there are enough words to express how thankful we are. We feel very fortunate that our boys have been a part of the magical kingdom that is Sixmilebridge GAA Club.

Every Saturday morning, Tadhg got to have an hour of having fun with a parent to himself (a rare thing in a busy house with 3 kids). He really grew in confidence from the first week of the under 5s sessions...all thanks to how safe and welcome he felt.

Daire has been really lucky to have benefited from 2 years playing hurling. He has experienced the importance of dedication, how to show good discipline, what it means to be part of a team...and so much more.

We can't thank the coaches of Sixmilebridge GAA enough. When our time comes to leave Germany and come back home, the boys will be dying to get back to the arena. In the meantime, we wish you all every success and we look forward to cheering the Bridge on from Bonn.
