Our 2013 girls played their first of hopefully many games in Cusack Park on Saturday 1st at half time of the Clare Senior Camogie Championship match v Cork.

The girls were met by County Junior players Rachel Kelly, Olivia Phelan and Sarah Loughnane on arrival and then brought to the VIP area of the stand to roar on their heroes.

At half time, the girls played Clooney-Quin in a highly contested 12 a side game for 8 minutes. Following the half-time game, the girls formed a guard of honour for the Clare team entering the field for the second half.

At the end of the match, the girls got to meet Chloe Morey and Muireann Scanlan, who spoke to the girls and signed hurleys.
