Special Morning For U-5 & U-6 Hurlers & Camogie Club Players

While they watch their U-13 & U-15 Heros take the limelight for their on the field heroics, and correctly so, the U-5 Hurlers and U-6 Camogie players had a very special morning last Saturday.

They had the pleasure of having their Grandparents and other family members visit the indoor arena so they could show off the hurling skills and fundamental movements they have been mastering over the last number of months.

It was a morning full of laughter and fun and also saw family members take on the young players in every activity laid out to the group.

The highlight of the morning was the kids comprehensively beating the adults in a tug of war match!

This was a new venture taken on by the Club but one that we hope to take on more often as we have now learned of the importance of a strong link between home, schools & the club to produce not only dedicated club players but also great young men & women for our local community.
