Well done to all the U8 girls who braved the elements Saturday morning of last week for their next round of the GO Games blitzes.
The Blitz was held in Broadford where the poor girls (& coaches) had to brave the elements of our lovely Irish weather. The spectators were more than happy and willing to take shelter in the protection of the Broadford stand.
With the tough conditions in play throughout, it did not affect our girls in any way and they played some great camogie, continuing to display the skills they are working on in training.
We fielded 3 teams with each team playing 3 x 12 minute matches. Other teams on the day were the hosts Broadford, Inagh, Parteen & Scarriff.
Thanks to Broadford for hosting us and running off a well organized event. The girls look forward to their next blitz where hopefully conditions will have improved drastically.
Training continues for the girls every Wednesday & Saturday.
