U8 Camogie Match
U8 camogie invited Truagh/ Clonlara and Cratloe to the Bridge on Friday evening. It was a great evening of hurling with 26 u8 girls fielding out against 2 Cratloe and 2 Truagh/ Clonlara teams.
The girls play 4 x 10 min matches and showed massive improvement in their striking, blocking hooking and everyone getting involved in all their matches.
It has been great to see this bunch of girls improve week on week.
Thanks as always to the parents for bringing the girls and to all the coaches. Thanks to the camogie club for sponsoring some well deserved goodie bags which were well received.
Training continues on Wednesday evenings and Fri evenings over the summer months. As the girls finish up school for summer we encourage all girls to keep up the camogie during the holidays and make training and matches as much as possible.
