Sixmilebridge 4-21 v 1-6 Killanena
Division 5B Round 3 @ Sixmilebridge
Our junior hurlers picked up their third consecutive league win with a comprehensive victory over Killanena this evening.
The first half was a tight affair with the home team four points to the good at the break, 1-9 to 1-5. James O'Neill had the 'Bridge goal after twenty minutes.
In the second half the 'Bridge turned up their performance by a couple of notches with the backs well on top limiting Killanena to a solitary point. This added to excellent link up play around the middle sector created plenty scoring opportunities with further goals arriving from James O'Neill and substitutes Trevor Maxwell and Dean McKenna.
With full points from three outings so far this sets Mikey Corbett's charges up nicely facing into the last two games against Clarecastle and Tulla.
