*Sixmilebridge Junior Infants up to 2nd Class*

The younger boys and girls in Sixmilebridge school completed their hurling based P.E. classes this week with a mix of fun games in the astro and matches on the recently maintained main pitch.

198 boys and girls across 9 classes in junior infants, senior infants, 1st and 2nd classes have been busy with a weekly training session on the club astro turf or in the club hall on wet days since last October.

The program rolled out was an athletic development model that aided in developing fundamental movement skills, agility, balance coordination as well as rudimentary & locomotive skills with a big emphasis on total inclusion with all kids been catered for with a big emphasis on fun!!

Schools coaches Martin Conlon and Jimmy Corbett would like to thank Principal Heagney and all the school staff for their commitment to Gaelic Games this year.

A special mention to coaches Fidelma Kearney, Debbie Reddan, Anna O' Doherty and Carmel Peacock for their assistance. Also to the club maintenance team of John Corbett, Gerry Lyons and John Mullins who had the facilities in working order every Monday and Wednesday.
