Unijobs are through to the All-Ireland final after a thrilling victory over Regeneron in front of a large crowd at UL on Wednesday night.
Both sides gave their all throughout in what was a great advertisement for Inter-Firm GAA. Great scores, high drama and the result in doubt to the final whistle

Regeneron made a great start to the game when a free from Caimin Morey was finished to the net by Oisin Hickey. Unijobs got their first score after 2 minutes when Cian Darcy fired over a point. Two pointed frees from Morey and a point from Hickey saw Regeneron lead by 5 points after 5 minutes. Unijobs got right back in the match when a free Mark Daniels ended up in the net and the lead was down to 2 points. Regeneron responded with another point from Hickey. Regeneron then scored their second goal of the match when a shot from James Keating was saved and Shane Punch finished the rebound to the net to put 6 points between the sides after 10 minutes. Darcy cut the lead with a pointed free after 11 minutes. Morey responded with a pointed free for Regeneron. Punch increased the lead to 7 points after a good turn and shot over the bar. Points from Darcy (2) and Daniel Owens reduced the lead to 4 points after 21 minutes. A good score from center field by Morey made it a 5 point game. Unijobs were right back in the match after 23 minutes when Cian Darcy made a strong run and fired past Dreelan to the back of the Regeneron net from a tight angle. Unijobs hit the front for the first time in the match after 24 minutes when more good play saw Daniel Owens get some space inside the 21 and he finished well to score a third goal for Unijobs. Gearoid Loughnane levelled the match with a good score on 25 minutes. Regeneron were back in front after 26 minutes when Ian Donnellan fired over another point. Back came Unijobs to level again with a point from Owens. Regeneron hit the front again with a point from Punch. Another score from Loughnane put 2 between the side. One last score from Owens for Unijobs left it Regeneron 2-12 Unijobs 3-8 at half time.

Unijobs drew level inside the first minute of the second half with a good score from Phelim O'Reilly. Shane Punch fired Regeneron back in front with a great score from out near the sideline. Back came Unijobs again to level with another point from O'Reilly. Enda Boyce fired over a point from center field to put Regeneron back in front. Good play from Cian Darcy found Daniel Owens in space and Unijobs were in for their fourth goal to go back in front after 40 minutes. Shane Punch made it a one point game when he scored from a free after 41 minutes. Daniel Owens broke through for another goal after 42 minutes and Unijobs were now 4 points in front. The lead was out to 5 points when corner back Mark Hennessy fired over a great score for Unijobs after 43 minutes. Regeneron looked to be in trouble but set about getting back in the match. Conor Robinson fired over a point to reduce the lead to 4. Two in a row from Shane Punch and it was a 2 point game. Another point from Loughnane left the minimum between the sides with 9 minutes left. Punch made it a level game with another point on 53 minutes and Regeneron looked like they had the momentum entering the closing stages. Great play from Cian Darcy fired Unijobs back in front when he broke through and hit the back of the net with an unstoppable shot to put them 3 in front. Unijobs kept the pressure on and started to pull away with points Fionnbarr Fitzpatrick, Jack Shelly (2) and Darcy to put 7 points as the game entered injury time. Regeneron never gave up and hit the crossbar with a shot from Punch. Punch then scored a goal to make it a 4 point game. Another score from Punch reduced the lead to 3 points but time ran out for Regeneron as Unijobs held on for a deserved victory in a great game between two excellent teams.
